Review

At the end of the working day, take 5 minutes to look back and review. This review helps prepare for the next day while tasks remain fresh in your memory, facilitating a smoother start. Additionally, reviewing progress toward your professional and personal goals also helps us to stay motivated.

  • What did you get done?
  • What needs your immediate attention the next day?
  • List 3 to 5 items for the next day.
  • Try to define the task on a high level with the mindset that you will work on the details of these tasks the next day.

If you don’t manage to do this directly after work, this exercise is also efficient for many people to do right before sleeping.
