Remembering Auditory Material

We all have different memory styles. Some do better with visual memory, others may be better at learning new material via auditory stimuli (think Audiobooks or Podcasts).

If you are often challenged when trying to remember spoken material, this exercise is for you.

  • Tune in to an audio speech, book, or podcast.
  • Try and catch the main scoop – It’s like a detective gig, answering “Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?”
  • First round might feel like a brain workout, but practice makes it a breeze.
  • Try and build this a usual method of processing auditory material.

This action helps to build awareness of the material you are listening to and supports recall.
