Portfolio of ‘Little Successes’

Keep a written record of the things you accomplished as a reminder of what you are in control of. Take a few minutes at the end of the day to reflect on your work day and note down any notable achievements, even if they are small, such as:

  • Did you manage to solve difficult tasks under time pressure?
  • Did you keep your calm when interacting with a difficult co-worker or client?
  • Were you able to make progress, even if it was in a smaller task within a larger project?

Writing these ‘little successes’ down helps to focus on what you can control and will help identify those in the future more quickly.
