Limit Snacks

The digestive system benefits from periods of not eating.

Snacking often comes from feelings of hunger when the blood glucose levels dip after a peak, so by following actions such as “First Course Green” or “Eat in Order”, the urge to have a snack should be minimised.

It is also a better idea having your dessert directly after the main course at lunch, and forego snacking until dinner. By limiting snacking, you help your body regulate the number of times your glucose levels spike.
